Hello,

How do we normally attach a font in an email?

I tried attaching a font by goining to windows\\fonts, then I picked the font to be attached, but in vain. Also the dialog box showed an \"open\" button instead of \"attach\".

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

You can't Apr 14, 2003

Email doesn\'t work like that. The best you can do is send your email as HTML formatted text, and hope that the recipient has the same font loaded on their system. Otherwise you\'ll have to embed your font into a Word or PDF file and send that as an attachment.

Draw the font to the desktop while hoding shift (it copies itself to the desktop). Then from desktop you can attach it or whatewer. Receiver will have to know how to instaal it, though (Control panel>fonts>file>install new font).
