Hi, simply go to www.corel.com => Downloads. Please note, that CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 11 Trial for Windows makes a huge 221 MB of data. The download size is really huge, so unless you belong to the lucky ones having VERY fast access (like T1), you might want to consider other ways - like: 1) Try to find out if some of your country's computer mags has had the trial version on the CDs they attach with every issue. Then ask the publisher if they have that back issue and buy it. 2) If you don't really need the latest version, eBay could be a good place to look into, as someone else suggested. You can buy a ... You can buy a full version of, say, the Corel 9 package, which is a perfectly functioning professional graphics tool - and it might cost you less than 100 bucks (in some cases even a sealed retail box, never used or registered). Also have in mind that for Corel 11 to run smoothly, you'd need a pretty powerful machine (with a CPU definitely in the GHz range, and advisably with 512 MB RAM), plus ideally WinXP (don't know about Win2k, but if you're running 98 or ME, forget it). If you're interested in exporting/importing EPS and PDF, my advice is not to go below ver.9). Else, if you only need a prog capable of handling vector graphics, Corel7 is a pretty good solution (normally $30-50 on eBay). You could even go with ver. 7LE (limited edition) which is stripped of some extras, and might be abo0ut half the price. BTW the Corel package includes not only a vector graphics app (CorelDRAW), but also a very good bitmap app (Corel PhotoPAINT), plus a number of other useful graphics gadgets. ▲ Collapse | |
