Hi. I posted this message in the Agency section of the boards, but I'm not sure that was the right place. In short, I was looking at buying some software that can help me track my sales, leads, emails, contacts, etc etc... I know of ACT! and GoldMine, which both claim to do all this (and more). I was wondering if anyone here has any feedback on either of these programs or would recommend another one. Thanks. Sandra

It does present a bit of a learning curve, and (gasp!) the language in the help & support needs to be spruced up a bit, but on the whole, it is a good tool for a reasonable price. Nancy

for a freelance translator use. I use this in the office where I work and it is pretty allencompassing. No it doens't count words! None that I have heard of actually do! The only down side that I can see is that you have two contacts at one agency/client, they are entered as separate contacts and not as a contact under a certain company/Agency! It's not at all costly and I highly recommed it! Goldmine is more laborious and corporate skewed. Not as easy to navigate through! Kim ▲ Collapse

ACT has a 30-day trial version available. Contact Plus claims to import ACT! files. Goldmine is a FrontRange product. The web site is http://www.frontrange.com/goldmine/. Goldmine has a 30-day trial version available.
