Alt Gr key on strike

Good afternoon or whatever,

The Alt Gr key on my keyboard has suddenly stopped working, which leaves me with a lot of copy/paste of the "at" sign whenever I type a mail - among other incoveniences.

Has anybody experienced this and found a solution? should I just reboot? (it takes AGES)

You can hold Ctrl + Alt, which has the same function as Alt Gr.
