Could anyone tell me if it is possible to order a vertical list of subject headings alphabetically in Excell. I know how to do it in Word but I can't find the option in excell but it must exist surely?

Thanks in advance

Mark column, click on data, then on sort Mar 29, 2005

Hi, if I understood you correctly, this should be easy to solve:

Simply click on the column you want to sort, for example on the "A" of column A to mark the whole column, then go to "data", then on "sort" in your task line and choose the options you want to have.

Good luck

If you want to rearrange the whole of the table Mar 29, 2005

There is a simple way to sort the whole of the table, by three different criteria in Data > Sort: in this case, by sorting say, by column B, all the rows will be rearranged, respectively. (If you sort only one column, the table might turn into a mess.)
