An annoying problem regarding nero toolkit

Dear Friends,
I've nero cd writer, but it is not working properly nowadays. As soon as I open my computer, for the first chance it writes the files. But nomore for the second chance or later on. Why is it so? May anyone please help!!

The annoying thing is, that with so little information a remote diagnosis and help are impossible Dec 16, 2005

There may be a wide variety of reasons for such behaviour.

Please check with www.ahead.com if you have the latest version of the software. Please also check, if your Windows uses the latest patches from M$.
There were some incompatibilities between Nero in some version and Windows XP - but only Ahead can give you the proper information. The best way would be IMO to contact their support.

Check your CD writer Dec 17, 2005

I remember having a similar problem with my backup program and it turned out my CD writer was dusty and needed servicing. Try downloading any other CD writer software and see if you can record more than one session. If you cannot, there is your answer.
