Upload or download? MBytes or Mbits? What are the needs? Jan 12, 2006

Let me guess the answers -
1) it's download only (so what is the upload rate?);
2) it's Mbits i.e. 1 Mbytes per second;
3) given the above the only practical use of this band would
be downloading huge files from different servers concurrently cause I doubt that there's even a single webserver on the Net publicly available that would allow you to download at speed of 1 MBytes (i.e. ~ 1000 Kbytes per sec) - maximum I've seen was about 120-150 Kbytes!

Sure there are. I have 20 MB/1 MB connection and I download at 1MB/S.
