By mistake all my favourite links, stored in "My favorite Place" (AOL) have been deleted.
Is there a way to restore them?

PLEASE, Help!

PS. Already called Aol, but they do not assist..

Do you have them installed on another computer? Oct 11, 2006

if yes

To save and copy Favorite Places to another member name
From the My Favorites menu icon on the toolbar, click Favorite Places.

Click Save/Replace. The Save and Replace Your Favorite Places appears.

Click Save the Favorite Places for your current member name.

Click OK. The Save As dialog box appears.

You can keep the default file name (Favorite Places.pfc) or create a new name. The default location for your saved file will be the Download folder in your CompuServe folder.

Switch to the member name to which you want to copy your Favorite Places.

On the Favorites menu, click Favorite Places.

Click Save/Replace. The Save and Replace Your Favorite Places screen appears.

Click Replace with a Previously Saved Favorite Places.

Click OK. The Select File to Restore dialog appears.

In the Select File to Restore dialog box select the Favorite Places.pfc file (or the file name you selected) to restore to this member name.

Click Open. A confirmation screen appears.

Click OK to continue or click Cancel if you change your mind. (If you clicked OK, a notice windows displays that shows you where the software is storing a backup copy of the Favorite Places that you are replacing.)

Click OK to continue.
