For no apparent reason, I'm no longer receiving mail via Thunderbird. When I try to send mail, I get "...connecting to SMTP server mail.mydomain.com failed. By the way, my av is Kazpersky Internet Security 6. I've run that and Spybot and AdAware and all seems ok

Also, I can still receive and send mail via Horde using the webmail link from My hosting with no problem

Problems with Thunderbird May 4, 2007

Hello Willliam,

I don't know if this is just a coincidence but I've noticed some strange things with Thunderbird 2.0 this morning.

First, I found two messages with a missing or different body; that is, if I use the browser to read my emails, the correct body is showing, but with Thunderbird, the same email has a one line text about the attachment and the rest of the body is gone.

Also, one email I sent out and is in the Sent folder was never actually sent.

Also, one email I sent out and is in the Sent folder was never actually sent. And this morning, a client emailed me because he never received an email that I sent two days ago.

I thought all those problems were unrelated but I was surprised by your post.
