Maximize/minimize function doesn't work

Hello,

I am having a very silly and very annoying problem...When I minimize a window, I can't maximize it again...I goes down on the task bar and..stays there, not to be used again. I have to close it with the task manager
click, double-click, right click...nothing works.

A right click from the mouse only shows the 'toolbars/cascade' menu...

I use a laptop with Windows XP Pro.


Any suggestion?

I use XP, too, and have had that problem a couple of times. I resolved it by rebooting the computer, believe it or not!

Just to check, I have tried witht the touch pad...same thing...so it's not the mouse...

It's working again! Jun 24, 2007

Tried to reboot again, and again...then left it overnight, took off all the cables....well, I don't know what worked, but it's working again.
I might never know what happened...
