Hi everyone,

First of all I don't print everything, its just that I have a poor quality pdf and the print is tiny, I am screwing my eyes up even with the zoom turned up! My question is how do I print so that the page is well.....larger? Everytime I try to print the font is the same despite the fact that I have magnified the pdf to say 150%

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance

Mihailo

Use printing settings Sep 11, 2007

Screen settings (magnifying PDF on screen) have no influence on printout.
Instead of pressing the print button press CTRL+P (print) and select from "Page handling" "Fit to printer margins". You can also change another settings there, ie what shall be printed.
Remark: this is how it works with my Acrobat 7.

Thanks for the reply Jerzy but the final print out is still the same size, I have the Page handling option as you say and then select Fit to printer margins but the end result is the same.

Maybe my adobe reader (only) is the problem?

Try different scaling.
Try to chose "print current view" instead of "print document".
If all does not change anything, consider downloading the latest driver for your printer, as Acrobat or Reader usually do print perfectly.

If your PDF is made from an original with tiny print, I'm afraid you're just out of luck.
Perhaps you can take your print to a copyshop and magnify it on a xerox machine.

Or you can try copy/paste into Word or something like that.

Good luck!

"Print current view" is what I was after.

Thanks Margreet and Jerzy, help is much appreciated.
