Hi Daniele,
und wo haste die schöne Liste her? Ich würde gerne wissen, ob sie "offiziell" ist, denn ich habe sehr oft andere Versionen von den Einträgen gesehen, z.B. Wurttemberg statt Wuerttemberg.

Hi Steven, die Liste habe ich beim Browsen gefunden. Es handelt sich um eine Seite, die sich mit Arbeiten in den USA und damit verbundenen Formalitäten befasst. Eine offizielle Liste ist auch auf der Seite es Auswärtigen Amtes hinterlegt.

Länder-Liste beim AA

Ich habe mir die Liste beim Auswärtigen Amt einmal durchgelesen und war etwas irritiert, dass dort z.B. Baden-Württemberg auch im Englischen mit einem "ü" geschrieben wird. Ü,ä,ö und ß gibt es doch im Englischen nicht - wird das "ü" hier dann wirklich jedes Mal als Sonderzeichen eingefügt?
