Hello,
By the way, where do you get most of your translation jobs from? Proz? Another web site? From networking, from past clients? Other means?
Some of you say that they don't really get jobs from ProZ.com. Is it really the case that it is that hard to get a translation job nowadays?

It is harder to get jobs from ProZ.com or other websites, because since they are advertised, everybody can apply. A lot of competition....
Getting contracts depends on a lot of factors such as your languages, fields...etc...French is a pretty common language, so it is a bit more difficult because there is more competition, compared to other languages, such as Norwegian or Japanese for example.
Stephanie.
