Hi everybody!

I'm a student at University of Central Lancashire (MA in Interpreting and Translation - Polish) and I've started looking for a job in translation to earn some extra money and, mainly, to gain experience. However, every agency I sent my CV to wants somebody with 5 year experience and this is a vicious circle because I can't become an experienced translator if I don't work. Do you have any ideas where and how I could get experience?(:

Best wishes,

Voluntary jobs? Jan 5, 2012

I always suggest voluntary jobs for novices e.g. translation for charity or religious organizations to gain your experience.
