Hi. I'm just beginning to look for work as a translator. Does anyone have any good tips on how to get started? I have been on a number of websites and a lot of places want experience. I have had done a small amount of paid and unpaid translation work alongside my previous career but that's it.
I would appreciate any advice. Thankyou in advance.

Exactly - because all aspects have been discussed a thousand times.

The next step would be to identify your aims and targets:
- Freelancer or inhouse
- Specialization(s) - how to become specialized and where to get experience
- Client search
- and lots of other things

Cheers,
Oleg
