And yet, I only really use the basic functions, nothing complicated. As to crashes or freezing, it happens once in a long while, but what software doesn't do that? I would say go ahead and try Wordfast, what is there to loose? Now, if you are asking about the new version, I'm afraid I haven't tried that.

We have demo versions of Wordfast Classic and Wordfast Pro available for download from our website here - http://www.wordfast.com/store_download.html
The demo version is a full-featured version of Wordfast; it can do anything that the licensed version can do. The only limitation is the size of the TM that you can store (limited to 500 TUs).
