Does anyone know af a site that compares the features of the various digital dictation devices on the market? I'm looking for a device that allows me to hear what i have dictated without having to end the dictation, that does not let me accidentally end a dictation, that allows me to move backwards and forwards within a file I am still working on (none of which is done by my present device, Philips voicetracer LFH0662 but was done very well by its predecessor the Philips 9360, which no longer seems to be available.

digital recorders Mar 4, 2010

You can peruse the following links. My husband who composes music as a hobby and I own the Sony ICD-Mx20 each and we both love it. You can merge files, split files, etc. It has great quality and we can create MP3's in the computer that can be edited, mailed, slowed down and/or timed. There are so many recorders in the market that I am sure you will be able to find one that is right for your needs
