Hello Friends,
I'll like to know which is the most popular and convenient Hindi Typing Keyboard. We assume that Kruti Dev is very popular among Hindi Typists as its keyboard is similar to that of the old Ramington Typewriters that was used for typing in Hindi.
Today most computers use Kruti Dev fonts and this Keyboard.
Are we right or is there any other keyboard which is more popular and used more often by writers of Hindi language or any other language/dialect based on Devnagari.
Actually we are working on Unicode Hindi Conversion Tool and have based it on Kruti Dev, we hope to add more functionality and make it really handy.
Right now we are providing it online for typing in Kruti Dev or converting Kruti Dev text to Unicode Hindi and therefore need your suggestions, to make it really useful and handy for people who need it.
Currently developers are working on this and we can improve it easily. (We do not have any plans to commercialize this tool).
So, if there are other more popular (or convenient) keyboards, then please suggest them here, so that we can look at them too.

इनस्क्रिप्ट ज्यादा वैज्ञानिक की बो

इनस्क्रिप्ट ज्यादा वैज्ञानिक की बोर्ड लेआउट है और इसका इस्तेमाल भी काफी लोग करते हैं। लेकिन मुफत् का और बेहद प्रचलित फोंट कृतिदेव है जिसका कीबोर्ड लेआउट रैमिंगटन है।
कुछ वेंडरों जैसे फोर सी लिपिका और एपीएस डिजाइनर ने भी इनस्क्रिप्ट के जरिये कृतिदेव में टाइपिंग की सुविधा दे रखही है।
मेरे पास बस इतनी ही जानकारी है। कोई भी इनस्क्रिप्ट वाला अगर कृतिदेव में काम करना चाहे तो जुगाड़ मैं बता दूंगा।

So far the most popular key board lay out in Hindi is concerned, I think there is no unanimity in this regard. However, these three types of layouts are widely used by the Hindi community -
Earlier, Remington was the most perfect key board lay out but INSCRIPT mode is the most scientific key board for all Indic languages including Hindi. At the same time, a large number of people still using Transliteration mode to avoid learning another keyboard.
पहला, कि सबसे ज्यादा पॉपुलर कीबोर्ड Kruti Dev 010 वाला है।
दूसरा, कि यूनीकोड के प्रचलन और भविष्य की संभावनाओं और सहूलियतों को देखते हुए Inscript कीबोर्ड सबसे अच्छा है। इसलिए मेरी राय में हम सभी को देर सबेर Inscript पर शिफ़्ट हो जाना चाहिए।
