दोस्तो, अनुवाद, विशेषकर तकनीकी और जटिल विषयों का अनुवाद, करते समय शब्दकोश का आश्रय लेना आवश्यक ही नही, अपितु अपरिहार्य हो जाता है। कागज़ी शब्दकोश सहायक तो सिद्ध होते हैं, पर इनसे समय बहुत नष्ट होता है, वहीं ऑनलाइन शब्दकोशों का उपयोग इंटरनेट उपलब्ध होने पर ही किया जा सकता है।
मेरे पास अंग्रेज़ी से अंग्रेज़ी में एक शब्दकोश (WordWeb) सीडी पर मौजूद है जिसमें केवल 2 सेकेंड में ही किसी शब्द का अर्थ पाया जा सकता है। शब्दिका नामक शब्दावली की कमी यह है कि इसमें बहुत सीमित मात्रा में शब्द हैं। क्या आपको किसी अग्रेजी-हिन्दी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक शब्दकोश के बारे में जानकारी है?

निस्संदेह ये शब्दकोश उपयोगी हैं। लेकिन इनकी कुछ सीमाबद्धता भी है। इनमें कई शब्दों के अर्थ गलत भी मिले हैं। इस लिए इनपर एक सीमा तक ही भरोसा किया जा सकता है।

What about translating with the help of Shipra Compulogies Dictionary (English to Hindi)? I found it good and free and offline one. Its URL is http//www.computantra.com and u may find it in various blogs and download it from there. It has a database of more then 22600 English words with Multiple Hindi meanings. But for technical purposes it may not be as satisfactory.
