I searched for unsecured wi-fi in Playa de Palma (Mallorca) and found a faint signal if I leaned precariously over the 12th floor balcony of my hotel. Australia and the Czech Republic are two countries where people don’t bother encrypting but users in Western Europe are much more possessive. BT have a good system for pooling wi-fi called FON. It works well in the UK and there are supposed to be reciprocal arrangements with France, Spain etc, but I have not had any success on recent visits: http://www.btfon.com/ | | | | | Pages in topic: < [1 2] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » | | | | X Sign in to your ProZ.com account... | | | | | | Costs of using a broadband dongle to access online dictionaries | Fluency Translation Suite 2011 | Translate Up To 50% Faster with Fluency
