Slightly off-topic, but I know some translators use VPNs.
Can anybody recommend a decent VPN service. I've so far been using PureVPN, and things started off well, but recently the quality of service and support really seems to have declined so I'm looking for alternatives.
So, can anyone offer an alternative that ideally:
- offers decent bandwidth
- is reliable-- e.g. doesn't randomly disconnect, drop bandwidth etc
- ideally, supports encryption (L2TP/IPSec)
- offers connection to a variety of countries, including UK/US/France
- nice-to-have: offers a fixed IP (that really stays fixed and by "fixed" they don't mean "randomly changes from time to time")
- ideally, isn't too expensive (e.g. in the order of $10-$30 / month)
