Hi,

I have a friend who can read, write and speak in English. Yet, she's a native speaker of Arabic. She asked me if I knew anyway she can improve her English language with online. She's not seeking translation skills, but rather conversation skills.

Does anyone know of online lessons offering that? She told me that chat rooms of native speakers of English sounded cool, as the topics were always different, and she got to learn some of the idioms and to gain some of the accent.

Still, she thinks that improving her English language on all sides requires a professional teacher, which I agreed to.

Any online resources in this regard?

Thanks in advance

Hi Dina,
I think your friend could try this site:

www.englishtown.com

I find it quite nice and useful. Among other things, you can have online conversations with mother tongue teachers and other students from all over the world.
