I took a medical interpretation training class in VA. we learned that the only State that offers certification in the present is the state of Washington, other states offer training classes but none of them are certifications. As for court, just like the others suggested, do some research in the internet, I am sure you will be able to find a lot of information about court certification, I know that in VA. they are offered twice a year. http://www.courts.state.va.us/main.htm This is the link to the Virginia Judicial System page maybe you could find some links there.

Good Luck!
