Minimum Wage
Nov 11, 2011
Minimum wage for Turkey is a monthly salary that is much below that which is required to live a decent life. You cannot afford a decent apartment and a decent car on minimum wage in Turkey. I am sure it changes from country to country. For example, minimum wage for the United States is an hourly wage that enables a single person to afford a car and an apartment along with a decent life. I had lived in the United States for about ten years. And minimum wage for professional translators/interpreters is called cheap labor anywhere in the world.

Social welfare

If a person has to live on social welfare, how much does he/she get from the government?
It varies from one place to another in China. In my home town Xi'an it's about 40 Euro per month.
