Me preguntaba si alguien dispone de ejercicios, libros o algún tipo de material que pueda utilizar para practicar en casa o, si conoce libros o cds (sobre todo me interesan audios) que pueda adquirir en alguna tienda. Hola, Raflosa. A partir de Enero/2012, yo voy a ofrecer prácticas individuales en consecutiva via Skype (Español/Inglés). Mis prácticas van incluir un MINIMO de 16 sesiones de 30 minutos (2 sesiones por semana durante 8 semanas). Además, el estudiante requiere un compromiso de por lo menos 1 hora diaria de prácticas individuales. Recomiendo a mis alumnos que antes de invertir en las prácticas tomen los cursos básicos de interpretación (que presento en línea por video) y que ya están disponibles en ProZ.com (como usted está estudiando en una Universidad, probablemente no necesita tomar estas sesiones ya que seguramente estará viendo tales temas en su institución). Espero pronto tener el placer de ayudarle en sus esfuerzos de profesionalización.
Hello, Roflosa. Starting January/2012, I will be offering individual practice sessions in consecutive interpreting via Skype (English/Spanish). My practice sessions will include a MINIMUM of 16each 30-minute sessions (2 sessions per week during 8 weeks). Additionally, the student must commit to a minimum of 1 hr./day individual practice. I recommend my students, before investing in the consecutive practice sessions, to take some of my basic interpreting courses I already have available via ProZ.com online video on demand (since you are already taking College courses, you would probably not need to take these sessions as you surely are taking such topics in your institution). I hope to have the pleasure of helping you in your efforts to become a professional.
