TOPIC STARTER
queries regarding CI Mar 28, 2005

Dear friends
You see, presently I'm booked with a Swiss company in India
for my services in consecutive interpretation (CI). I've not
pursued any course in interpretation as such but I hold a
diploma in French [(DL)Diplome de langue francaise] from
Alliance Francaise in India. That's why I want to collect
as much information as much I can and I'm seeking further
for your help in this regard.
Now about my queries regarding CI;
1. Should I pursue a course in CI through correspondence ?
2. What should I do when I'm free i.e. when my client is
involved in a discussion with someone.
I had more in mind but now I can't recall so that's all for
now.
I would be greatful if you could spare some time from your
busy schedule to give me your precious advices.
With regards
Naveen
