Hi,

Hi,

I'm a French student who's always wanted to become an interpreter. I have finally been accepted into the Westminster programme, after a lot of training for the exams.

I was lucky enough to find training partners with the exact language combination I needed. However, I think it's very hard for most students to find partners to prepare for the entrance exams to high-ranking interpreting schools (ESIT, ETI, Monterey, Westminster etc.). After all, conference interpreting is a very specialized field and you don't bump everyday into someone who wants to do this very job for a living... so I had the idea to create a forum where all students could meet and find the right training partners, in order to increase their chances of being accepted on their first trial.

The address is http://interpreters.aceboard.fr

Please note that this site is only intended for students who are attending or should soon attend an interpreting school, it is not for language learners.

Thank you !
