Telephone interpreting... How to charge

Hello all,

I was contacted to quote on telephone interpreting, but did not know how to quote. Is it per minute, per hour, lump sum, what??

I charge per minute Sep 12, 2007

regardless of whether I pay all call charges or the client. Just the rate is different. My minimum charge is 10 minutes.

Thus five minutes is the minimum charge.

Hi Yelena, I was wondering if the company that you are talking about that pays by a minumum of 10 minutes is right here in the USA, or do you interprete from America to the UK?

I Know that most telephonic companies' rate is determined by the each minute talk. Do you know if there exists companies that pays by the hour, time loged on or by blocks of minutes
