Traduzione con Tag editor di file in più lingue

Ciao a tutti! mi trovo a dover tradurre uno stesso testo con tag editor prima in una lingua (italiano) e poi in un'altra (francese). Ora, dovrei creare due memorie a parte, giusto? Una volta tradoto il testo in italiano posso lavorare direttamente su quest'ultimo per realizzare la versione francese? E se sì come devo procedere?
