traduzione senza p. IVA: un consiglio

Salve a tutti, essendo già dipendente presso un'azienda mi capita raramete di eseguire traduzioni in proprio. Ho eseguito però ultimamente la traduzione di un libro per un cliente americano che asserisce di non potermi versare il compenso pattuito se prima non riceve un invoice dettagliato (!)
Ora, non avendo partita iva come posso fare? Qualcuno mi potrebbe inviare un template di "ricevuta" tipo che posso mandare - sempre che sia la cosa giusta da fare.
