Tariffe "per word" e "per hour" dal giapponese

Ciao a tutti.

Traduco dal giapponese e mi hanno chiesto le mie tariffe "per word" e "per hour".
Sono abituata a lavorare con le cartelle (trad. editoriali) quindi non ho idea.
Ho cercato online ma non riesco a stabilire una media... e non capisco se la tariffa va fatta sul testo di partenza o di arrivo. Dal testo di partenza come faccio? "Per ideogramma"??

Se qualcuno sa come aiutarmi approfitto e chiedo anche le stesse delucidazioni sull'inglese.
