file .txt con studio 2011 Thread poster: Sara Formenti

Ho ricevuto un file .txt da tradurre con studio 2011.
Il problema è che il file in Trados risulta vuoto, mentre se viene aperto normalmente il contenuto è ben visibile.
E' necessaria qualche impostazione particolare in Studio 2011 per gestire i file .txt?

Di default Studio importa il txt come testo due colonne con tabulazione (con prima colonna source, seconda target). Conviene creare un filetype personalizzato: tools, options, filetype, New, Simple delim text, in Format definire Delimiter "other".
Ma dipende ovviamente dal formato di questo txt (è bilingue?).

Grazie per la risposta.
Ho creato un nuovo filetype come indicato, ma non so dove inserire "other" come delimiter. All'interno di format non c'è un comando delimiter.
Scusa se le domande sono banali, ma non ho mai lavorato con Trados e nemmeno con testi .txt.
Il file contiene diciture in inglese (a me sembrano comandi) e in tedesco (testi interfaccia utente).

puoi postare qualche esempio di riga (anonimizzando il testo)?

L'impostazione filetype nuovo, ecc. funziona.
Ora, aprendo il file in sudio 2011 vedo anche il contenuto, però la colonna source contiene tutto il testo del file di partenza, inclusi comandi e testi in inglese. E' normale che sia così perchè il sistema non è in grado di distinguere tra l'uno e l'altro oppure è necessaria qualche altra impostazione?

Se le stringhe sono tutte così e devi tradurre il testo tedesco in italiano (quindi ITA sovrascrive DE) dovrai impostare come Delimiter il simbolo uguale (=), source column 2 e translation column 2. Meglio fare 2-3 prove prima di tradurre 200mila parole e poi scoprire che invece era sbagliato.
