.....come possono saper cucinare????

"Spaghetti with vongols" Jul 3, 2006

Ci andrai davvero in quel ristorante?

Jul 3, 2006

...c'è sempre da divertirsi!!!!!!!

Sentite questa: una mia amica mi ha raccontato che in un ristorante di Lecce "patate lesse" era stato tradotto con "potatoes he/she read"!! Ah ah!! E da notare la politically correctness!!!!!

Ih ih!

pasta con le sarde = Pasta with the Sardinians

Zuppe Jul 3, 2006

VERSIONE INGLESE:
The roman cooking tradition is full of ancient and genuine dishes like: the soup with pasta and beans, the soup with pasta, brocolis and pigskin, the soup with fish, the "stracciatella" (a compounds of meal, eggs, parmesan and salt which is put in broth), bread which is cooked with tomatoes, the soup with undercut, rise and chicory, the soup with broad been.
The roast sucking-pig is a very special dish which can be eat with bread cooked in wood-burning oven; finally the typicals sweetmeats: the "Tozzetti"(with cocoa and nuts), delicious in the wine, and the "Pupazze" with three breasts (one for wine and the other two for milk).

MA CHE STA A DI'? Jul 4, 2006

G. (nome del paese, di seguito sempre puntato) that second the historic eighteenth-century Nicola Reatti established as castle about the 1225 from the monks of S.Anastazio of the Acque Salvie don't catch the name as much believe from the "Cynthia", the black appellative of the Diana goddess, but more simply it hands down the denomination the old of the area that it is business pittorescaly on an eyelashes of the lake of Nemi. is in fact it notes the existence in Roman epoch of a "Gentia" family, provabilly owner of the place where then G. In follows the country assumed the name of " gentiani fundus " and still today in dialectal form am called "genziani".Already a long time before that the monks of the Tre Fontane erected a fortified castle, it must exist an inhabited centre, how to is it is possible to see from different documents of the XII sec.various doings indications think that between the ruin of a patrician villa Roman, overlooked on the lake himself form in correct location a community of a few family. This were certainly to avoid from the Roman campaign after the incursion saracen between the VIII and the century X sec.But only from the XIV sec.what himself they have exact news on G. and in the most of the cases it is to bring again in the " story of G. " published by the abductions gia in the 1797.it exists certainly a municipal administration form charge from stater and it regulates inveterate the which denomination was "Universita" et homini di G.. G., that till the half of the 500 will remain lock in inland of the tack of which it is visible still the bars, it reckoned to the end of the 600 a people of 500 inhabitants. The property of the dried country with the alternates event from a noble family to the other. The strain Sforza-Cesarini, that possession hold in the 1564, he has stoped profound tracks in the urban installation of G. still today awaken admiration the road three that in slope it starts from the square modern T. Frasconi . practically were to implement in the XVIII sec.when the Sforza - Cesarini family, owner of the outside bottoms to the building surrounded the old medieval,it allowed the lands to anyone is pawned to construct palaces conspicuous. In a few ten years old G., thanks also to the induced wealth from the expand of the wine cultivation, himself change from little centre in well-curb and one's own town, with much of noble road.G., thingummy call from the 1875 for way of the existence of an other G. in Lucania,it is famous also for the like that debt "olmate".Himself lake trade avenues doubly planted with trees done construct to start from the 1643, from the Duca Giuliano Cesarini. but the notoriety major comes to the town comes from a well-known traditional festivity all over the world:L'infiorata.Petal quintals of bloom are used to form 12 carpets grown-ups, important sacred images and topicality themes, over which passed the procession of the Corpus Christi Day in way of Italo Bernardi. is not missed, in the course of the story, to G. illustrious characters the which notoriety has crossed the boundary straits country. For the art goes remembered the Virginio Monti painters and Eugenio Cisterna further to the engraver skilful Lucio Quirino Lelli that he was joint manager of the incision school of the Belgium and manager of the Calcografia Nazionale of Roma. Camillo Iacobini was minister of Pio IX and to he is he must the construction of the bridge of Ariccia and the input and it development in it Stato Pontificio of the railway and of the telegraph. In times more near to we find to G. managers of the labour movement and peasant, as for example Tommaso Frasconi, that in the Lazio have unrolled a role of big relief.

Second the German poet Fridrich Theodor Visher the peasant of G., dress of the theirs traditional custom, they were so fine and you refine that to the theirs comparison the more smart lady of the society Good gave the impression of much young maid. The female custom genzanese, characterized by a gaudy red shirt,it was protagonist of an episode that it risked of change in tragedy.in the 1849, passing for G. the army of Ferdinando II of Borbone, a woman group thick of the country, she moved from curiosity she .went meeting to the championed Neapolitans coffeepot. This from far away recognized only a toss of much shirt ate into.Convinced of has opposite a Garibaldian squad, they caught sudden location, ready to open the fire.If he had not been for the immediate intervention of the parish priest, he is coming out of a massacre.in the story of the country is left famous also an other tied episode to the icon of the seventeenth-century painter Carlo Maratti, Father of the many extoled Faustina. poetess the marathas he was constructed a fine palazzetto to G. near to Livia way, where he reckoned of passing in quiet the year lasts of his life. For such theme began to fresco the salt of the building but the job was not ever complete because, on account of an unpleasant fact, Maratti did not want know more of G. Giovangiorgio Cesarini, lover madly of Faustina, in the 1703 attempted the kidnapping and the poetess victim was hurt heavily to the neck. Now the palace of the marathas makes still show beauty, but to its interior is missing the plans to traced coal by the artist, covered it today from a paper commune from decorated by a few used.
