Dear members,
It is now possible to "flag" an answerer in your KudoZ dashboard, so that you will receive a notification every time one of your "flagged answerers" posts an answer or a reference comment.
Credit is given to site member Rebecca Jowers, who suggested this new feature here.
For detailed information on this feature please see the dedicated FAQ.
Thanks to Rebecca and to all site members for making this implementation possible.
Regards,
Enrique | | | |

Yes, this is very welcome indeed. There are people out there who are always interesting to read and this will allow us to do so.

It is a useful feature, thanks for implementing it.
And special thanks for the appropriate documentation of where the idea came from -- adding such links saves time for those who are interested in reading about the background of this feature. Thumbs up for this kind of transparency!
Would it also be possible to name the developers? While it is certainly a joint effort, it would be nice to see who is working behind the scenes. This would make the perception of staff members' work perceived more personal, I feel.
Kind regards,

Thank you for this feature. This makes it easier for me to gather information from the most helpful answerers.

Will answerers know that they're being flagged? It would be nice to know - not specifically by whom, of course, just the general information.
Thanks for this useful feature!

Is there a possibility to opt-out? (being tracked) - or at least, see who is tracking you?
I'm not fully easy with the thought of my fellow users/members following my tracks on the site without my being informed... Not that I have anything to hide, but it's a matter of principles. I don't see it similar as following a thread, this is more personal info to me.
Alternatively, it could be more like Facebook stuff: you allow one person to see your data, and this is reciprocal, by mutual agreement (KudoZ FriendZ?).

Florence, it's already possible to visit your profile and "follow your tracks" This flag just saves the interested party the visit.
