KOG check Oct 6, 2005

Verschwiegenheit is not in the Kudoz Open Glossary yet. It does appear in some member glossaries, but those don't seem to be searched as part of the archive search.

Yes, Jalapeno, there are actually two entries in the KOG:

Sorry, Kim, I misphrased my posting. "Verschwiegenheit" is not in the KOG as a separate term, only as part of a longer term. It's not in the KOG as an individual, single word. That's probably why the search algorithm doesn't "catch" it - if that's the case, the algorithm should be improved.

This had worked in the old KudoZ search, i.e. when entering "Verschwiegenheit", you would automatically get all variations in the glossary starting with "Verschwiegenheit", say, "Verschwiegenheitspflicht", "Verschwiegenheitsgebot" and "Verschwiegenheitsklausel".

Room for improvement, I'd say.

Steffen

Thanks! Oct 7, 2005

I am so happy to know that steps have been taken to avoid unnecessary repetitions, and to improve KudoZ participation. It’s very useful to know other colleagues opinions, and to have a better picture of the problem.

I just wanted to point out some abusing I have noticed. I know that we must tolerate each other, and always be polite and respectful, but at the same time we must respect ourselves and make other to respect our profession, time and efforts.

Thanks all of
