I\'m looking for multilingual contributors to a multilingual group blog called Blogalization, which I\'m in the process of developing. The idea is a game of linguistic \"six degrees of separation\": I blog in English and Portuguese, the languages I can write, about blogs I read in other languages I can read. Anyone who shares at least one language with me can read about memes in languages they may lack. Through cross-linking, we encourage multilingual knowledge-sharing. I am working on the Portuguese community now, have Spanish bloggers interested, and figure to do French next. Any German and Dutch bilingualists with an interest would be greatly appreciated. Asian languages, Slavic languages, living Latin, Esperanto, anything goes. Each language area will have its own sub-superuser. Visit the development log [just English so far, Portuguese, Spanish, and French soon] to comment or suggest. Voluntary translations of the mission statement greatly appreciated: I\'ll set up a page for your language as soon as possible. And please spread the word in the non-English forums, if you find the project interesting.

Update Apr 13, 2003

Still looking for \"sub-superusers\" for a group Web log at blogalization.org. I have added Spanish and Portuguese pages, but want to include as many languages as there is is interest in supporting. Building a large community of multilingual Web loggers to share information across languages will have a high profile on the Web, and promote the idea of open, non-anglocentric communication. Registration is free, member information will not be sold, and discussion is completely open.
