The full program of METM 08 has now been posted on the MET website. It includes keynote speeches, panel sessions, workshops, oral and poster presentations on a wide range of subjects related to promising practices and research at the writing-editing-translation-publishing interface.

You’re still in time to take advantage of the early registration offer with a reduced fee for the conference; the early-bird deadline is 31 July. For details about registration see http://www.metmeetings.org/?section=metm08_registration.

Split is a beautiful city and a popular holiday destination, so early planning is advised. Details regarding travel and accommodation can be found at http://www.metmeetings.org/?section=metm08_local_info.

The Mediterranean Editors and Translators meetings are aimed at author’s editors, copy editors, journal editors, translators, copywriters, proofreaders, teachers of English for special purposes, project managers, writing instructors, oral communication coaches, web localizers, and any other “language brokers” working with English in the Mediterranean area with an interest in communication across cultures.
