Terminology Blog launched by participants of TSS 2009 Jul 14, 2009

Organizers and participants of TSS 2009 have launched the Terminology Blog as a tool to discuss some of the topics that are close to the heart of professionals and researchers in the field. Readership statistics sky-rocketed almost immediately and it remains to be tested whether these readers will also use the blog as a tool to comment, ask questions or trigger discussions.

The International Terminology Summer School, or in short TSS, is an annual practice-oriented training on terminology management for professionals in these fields. It is organized by TermNet, the International Network for Terminology, an Austrian-based international NGO. 54 participants from more than 22 countries - most of them translators or terminologists in companies, non-profits, universities or freelance - gathered in Cologne last week for the 5-day seminar.
