For future planning.

Please find below the announcement for the 4th
International Maastricht-Lodz Duo Colloquium on "Translation and Meaning".
As may be known, this is a five-yearly interdisciplinary congress on issues
of meaning in translation and interpreting with a session in Maastricht (the
Netherlands) and Lodz (Poland). The next congress will take place in 2005.

I wish I could attend and visit such beautiful places!
I was in the Netherlands only for a few hours in 1989. The plane had to stop in Amsterdam on its way to the Middle-East.

I saw very little of the city.
Well, those of you who can attend, - specially Andrzej - will certainly enjoy the site and everything else...

I bought my first "Interrail" pass in Maastricht around 25 years ago, not knowing I would someday live nearby (in Düsseldorf).

Has anyone in ProZ attended one of these 5-year sessions? Would be interesting to hear what they are like.
