The South African Translators' Institute (SATI) is having their 48th annual general meeting on Friday 4 June 2004 at the RAU campus of Johannesburg University (formerly known as the Rand Afrikaans University). The AGM will be followed by two talks.

Date: Friday 4 June 2004
Time: 8:30
Venue: Room A-Les 104, RAU Campus, Johannesburg University, South Africa

Date: Friday 4 June 2004
Time: 11:00-16:30 (including tea beforehand and lunch in the middle)
Cost: Basically, ZAR 50/70 SATI members, ZAR 100 for non-members. Fee includes tea/coffee upon registration and lunch.

Spellcheckers and localisation: theory and practice (presentation by Sulene Pilon)

Talk 2 (13:30-16:30)
Technology: tips and tricks for translators (presentation by Maritza van den Heuvel)
