Localization Fusion Society (New York City) Wine and Cheese (Networking) Party (non alcohol beverages will be served too)
First meeting May 10, 2005 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Information Builder - Conference Center (24th Floor), 2 Penn Plaza, New York, NY (across from the entrance to Madison Square Gardens - 7th Ave at 31-33 streets)
This is the kick-off meeting of Localization Fusion Society (New York City) will be hosted by Renato Beninatto of Common Sense Advisory:
This event is designed to be a networking event, meet new people working in our industry (localization and translation), renewing old friendships, or just to hang out with people in the localization industry.
What are the rules?
First off, the legal bit -- Common Sense Advisory have trademarked "Localization Fusion Society" just so that no other organization can appropriate it. That said, we hereby grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to gather under the banner of the Localization Fusion Society.
Second Rule, no selling is allowed. One of the things clients (or users or practitioners or buyers) hate is the "killing fields" of traditional industry conferences. We want everyone to feel comfortable.
Third Rule, we always split the tab down the middle. All for one, one for all, and each bill is divided per stirpes.
Fourth Rule, send us photos of your gathering.
Fifth Rule, there is no fifth rule.
In order to attend you must contact us at least 24 hours in advice so we can add your name to the building's security list. Please include your name and Company, we will confirm / notify by email .
