Dog and cat unhelpful!

The dog provides moral support by snoring from the sofa behind me. The cat is generally unappreciative of my efforts and even loses the odd phrase and adds her own by walking over the keyboard (before being unceremoniously ejected)!
My boyfriend's eyes glaze over if I try to explain the details of what I'm doing, but he's very good at making encouraging noises. He has even been known to arrive with a bottle of bubbly to toast the launch or end of a big project!
Cake in the afternoon helps: a reward if all has gone well, consolation if it's a bad day.
