(I would imagine that you could only come up with something similar in a language which, like English, has a limited number of different forms for a given verb)

I suppose it isn't fair to say "yes", then not explain.
Imagine a school exercise with the question "why did you stop eating?" to which the teacher's preferred answer is "because I had had enough", rather than "because I had enough". In explaining 2 boys' answers:
John, where Jack had had "had had", had had "had"; "had had" had had the teacher's preference.

of course you loose the funny and "confused" aspect of the English!

perfect example of something impossible to translate/decode properly by machine translation (even Google's new machine)!
let's try in French, we'd get something like this:
john where jack had had had had had had had had had had had the teachers preference
john où jack avait avait avait avait avait avait avait avait...etc... avait les professeurs préférence
(note: don't even try decoding... it's perfectly meaningless! not to mention that the ... See more perfect example of something impossible to translate/decode properly by machine translation (even Google's new machine)!

(note: don't even try decoding... it's perfectly meaningless! not to mention that the computer might have ended up choosing the plural "avaient" to fit the plural "professeurs" which of course it would have failed to decode into "professor's")

In German, it is:
Wenn hinter Fliegen Fliegen fliegen, fliegen Fliegen Fliegen nach.
(If some flies fly after some other flies, then flies fly behind flies.)
Also works for Robben (seals) and probably some other animals.
Does that count as a translation?
