As linguists do you have any information and knowledge about a web site that offers lots of good features about writing as proz does about translation.
Is there any company that offers discussion and forums and services and jobs about writing.
If you know a web site that offers such services then please do not hesitate to participate.
Thanks for your great help and time spent in this thread.
Regards Sebastian

strictly speaking, a linguist is not per definition a translator or vice versa. Not in the sense that a translator in general should have studied the latest in theoretical linguistic work done by people working on generalizations and formulas.
A real linguistic source could be the LinguistList (www.linguistlist.org) if you are looking for anything regarding theory of language.
