Hi,
I'm trying to open a .PO file in Passolo 2009 (v. 8.0.03 - came with Studio 2009 SP3).
So I went to the Tools/Add-ins window, and found the parser (PO File Parser).
Its status is "not available" (like most other add-ins there).
When I still try to click on Load, nothing happens (same with the About button).
So, does anyone have an idea how to open .PO files in Passolo?
Thanks, Doron | | | |

Hello Doron,
the version that is bundled with SDL Trados Studio 2009 is SDL Passolo 2009 Essential. It has a reduced feature set and supports the localization of Windows 32 bit executable files, .NET assemblies and .NET RESX files only.
The parsers for all other file formats are not available. These parsers are available in the full licensed version of SDL Passolo.

Thanks, Achim.
I wish I could gain this knowledge from the Passolo Help myself...
So I'll have to do with Poedit, a very translator-unfriendly tool.

Have you tried Okapi Rainbow? I've used it several times to convert .po to xliff and back... Very useful!

I'm now looking into that version.
This Poedit seems only to generate error messages...
