It is a week or two since I have used this but today I have bug.
An example:
Italian source text: tradotto alla lettera significa ‘luce scura’.
Result of Control+J: [[[translated literally means 'light condition'.,tradotto alla lettera significa ‘luce scura’.,]],,it]
Any advice very welcome.

Hi Russell,
Try installing the latest version - v2.85, I think - that should fix it (http://dallascao.com/gt4t_en/downloads/). If not, drop an email to Dallas Cao - he's always very helpful.

Have you checked your mode options?
There are three mode options to choose from, make sure to active the on-line tool you need.
Just an idea.

Thank you both.
I went to downloads and downloaded the latest version. However, I now appear to have two versions loaded, with different icons, one with the bent arrow and the other with a cloverleaf. Both appear to be working correctly but I am worried that this may only be the trial version.
I couldn't see any option for Updates.

You can uninstall the old version if it disturbs you. Just open the file folder for GT4T, where you can find the uninstall program.
As to the version, after using the program for a number of times(500?), a small window will jump out from time to time, asking you to buy it.
Take your time.

had it too ! I switched to googleapis.com and everything seems fine
And when I downloaded the latest version KAV 2010 detected it as a trojan ! ! !

You will never know how irresponsible some virus killers can be until you become a programmer.
Today's virus killers are quick in scanning files. To make scanning more efficient, they will decide whether a program is a virus or not depending on simple criteria like the following:
1. Detect if an exe file is small in size.
2. Detect if the exe tries to start up with Windows.
3. Detect if the exe tries to submit data to the internet.
If an exe file meets one or more criteria, they will say it is a virus! especially when the software is quite unknown and has a strange name like GT4T:)
Ever since I created the first version I have started my fight with several virus killers. All I have to do is to write them a complaint and then the alarm will be gone.

Hi everyone,
I installed a trial version of KAV2010 and found out:
KAV2010 reports the uninstall.exe contains a virus. uninstall.exe comes with the installer program CreateInstall.
I will write to CreateInstall to report this. In meantime, to avoid this virus alert, please download the gt4tpro.zip instead of the installer.

I have upgraded my CreateInstall and recreated the installer. The uninstall.exe file no longer gives out virus warnings.

Hi Dallas,
I still have virus warnings (Avast) when I try to download the Pro version through the .exe link.
I downloaded it through the .zip link and didn't have any warning but... no "uninstall.exe" file either once I unzip the folder!
Could you kindly advise? How can I download the whole folder (.exe or .zip) including the uninstall file?

Hi Aude,
Don't worry about the virus warning. You will always get a wirus warning from avast to download any exe files.
For the zip file, just unzip all the files somewhere and run the GT4T.exe.
In this case, you don't need the uninstall.exe file to uninstall. Just delete the whole folder.

Since this week, when I use GT4T, I constantly get the following feedback:
{responseData: null, responseDetails: Suspected Terms of Service Abuse. Please see http://code.google.com/apis/errors, responseStatus: 403}.
The GT4T does not work at all. Does anybody know what the cause of this problem is? What can I do against it?
