Hi everybody,

I was thinking about buying MemoQ and my question is… Is it possible to receive with this CAT Tool Transit NXT .PPF files and to submit the translations as .TPF files?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Estefanía

Great! Nov 30, 2009

Smashing. I am happy it was helpful.

I must say that we in the office are really happy with MemoQ. In our case, we combine it with Trados as most of our customers are Trados-based.

Take care!
Tomás

Dear Gergely and Tomás,

Thanks again!

Although the previous link didn’t quite work it gave me the lead to go the Transit forum and look for the key words so… It actually helped

Best regards,

Estefanía

Transit NXT .PPF and .TPF files Dec 1, 2009

Hi Estefania,

memoQ can import .PPF project files by going to Project > Import complete project > *.PPF
You can export a complete project either by choosing Settings pane of the Project manager > Export complete project, or by choosing Project menu > Export Complete Project. You will be prompted to choose a path for the file that contains the complete project. If you worked on a STAR Transit project, you can also export the project into *.tpf or *.txf files.

I hope this helps?

Kind regards,
Claudia
