Pricing for Technical Editing jobs

Hi,

Can anybody tell me what is an average price for a Technical Editing
job, i.e. the technical content already exists in English, but needs to be
rewritten for different usages like web, press release etc.

Charge by the hour Apr 15, 2008

You can charge by the hour using your hourly rate. If it is for a direct customer, charge them at the hourly rate you set for direct customers. If it is for an agency, charge them at the hourly rate you set for agencies.

Thank you for your answer. So we will first have to work out hourly rates then,
because we have no experience with outsourcing so far.
