Need advice about freelance rates for terminology

I would like to ask if there are any established rates for terminology work or glossary making, be it creating the glossary from scratch out of specialized texts or finding equivalents in the target language given a list of words in the source language.

If it's to be charged per hour, I can imagine the rate shouldn't be too different of other timely-charged activities, such as proofreading or reviewing. But if it's to be charged per item, then I don't know how much it should be or whether I should take into account factors such as the grammatical category, etc.

Would it make any difference whether the list of source words below to a specific domain or are general?

Thanks a lot for your views!
Manuel
