We will have some subtitle work in the coming months. I am wondering what will be the usual rate as per minute movie. For example for 100 minute movie.

In the USA 3-5$ per minute... May 22, 2004

...and less in Europe,if you ask about translation.
Subtitling market leader (SDI Media)is offering around 1.5 USD per minute.
In Asia, prices may be different.

In the UK, it averages around $6-7 ppm (a noble exception pays $1.70 per caption, as it should be) May 22, 2004
